Values
These are the core values of the Unitivist belief system. This list is not all encompassing and other values are present in our tenants.

Confidence with Humility
We strive to improve ourselves and those around us. We respect, value and love the vessel we are gifted. However, we do not use these strengths or achievements to belittle, put down or hurt others. We do not boast or exaggerate our achievements.
Justice and Equity
We do not believe in equality. Equality means that everything is equal. Our vessels are not equal, therefore the accommodations that best serve us are not equal. Our experiences on our earthly journey are not equal. What we seek instead is a community of equity and justice. Each person is led on the path that is suited for them. Each person shall be granted the gifts and rewards that suit their level of need to fulfill their journey. The church believes in working to achieve greater equity and justice in our currently very unjust earthly world.
Humor, Fun & Creativity
Humans are playful, creative creatures. We honor that laughter and humor can serve to heal a heart or mind that has suffered great pain. Many of our services are simply “for fun” or in the pursuit of appealing to our creative nature. We believe that The Source often speaks to us in abstract ways through art, music and other varieties of creation and fun.
Curiosity
We do not value obedience or reverence here. We value continuous learning which often stems from a curious mind. Our doctrine will be constantly updated to reflect the most recent discoveries in science, medicine and other worldly matters. This doctrine is meant to be questioned, as it is only through curiosity we can continue to grow and serve our connected existence.
Compassion, Kindness and Love
Love is the thread that connects us. Compassion is our fuel to correct the wrongs of the world. Kindness is our weapon of choice.
Bravery, Vulnerability and Resilience
Bravery in our teachings does not equal an absence of fear, but instead, action in the face of fear. We value vulnerability, with an open tender heart and resilience to keep trying again. Dr. Brené Brown says it best: “Strong Back, Soft Front, Wild Heart.”
Honesty and Integrity
In seeking knowledge, we must seek the truth. To spread wisdom, we must speak the truth. To build foundations, we must rest upon trust. In order to maintain a truthful existence we must remain in our values and in our integrity. We act within our values because we know it feeds our vessel, not because someone is watching. We are an actionable group and through our actions we remain rooted in these values and in our honesty.
